A quiet theater, vast and deep,
Where currents of the intellect sweep;
The Real Mind wakes, a sovereign spark,
To chart a course through void and dark.
Here, two paths wind across the stage,
Defining every turning page.
One is the beacon, sharp and bright,
That pours upon the world its light:
The artisan of doubt and grace,
Who looks upon the human face
Of truth, and asks, “Is this the vein
Of gold, or merely phantom stain?”
With analytical, steady hand,
It sifts the shifting desert sand,
To weigh the proof, to test the line,
And let the hidden luster shine.
It does not hoard, it does not hold,
But turns the lead of myth to gold,
A vibrant pulse, a living stream,
That wakes the dreamer from the dream.
The other waits in chambers gray,
Where shadows hold the ghosts of day.
It is the creed, the metal chain,
That binds the muscle and the brain;
Where whispers turn to iron law,
And stifle every breath of “Why?” and “How?”
It plants a seed of static thought,
In gardens where the mind is caught,
A uniform and silent row
Of seeds that only shadows know.
It bids the spark to dim its glow
And walk where blind men tell it go,
To wear the blinders, fixed and tight,
To fear the dawning of the light.
But look upon the dance we choose:
Shall we be vessels, or the muse?
The essence of the mind is found
In honest inquiry, profound—
Where judgment sits as steady guide,
And reason stems the rising tide
Of dogma’s dark and heavy weight.
To think is to emancipate.
So let the dance begin anew;
Refine the false, embrace the true.
With every question, every test,
We stir the intellect from rest,
Breaking the shackles, stone by stone,
To make the sovereign mind our own.
For in this synergy of thought,
The greatest wisdom has been sought:
To question all, to see, to be,
The light that sets the spirit free.
