He drapes himself in borrowed flags,
And wears a hollow, painted grin,
A wolf in holy, tattered rags,
Who wears his malice like a skin.
He claims a mantle from the skies,
A prophet born to lead the blind,
Yet speaks in endless streams of lies,
With nothing godly in his mind.
A television parasite,
A con man spawned of stage and screen,
He picked the taxpayers’ pocket right,
The greediest thief you’ve ever seen.
A traitor to the sacred oath,
A coward hiding from the fight,
He feeds the bigot’s ugly growth,
And wraps his cowardice in white.
A predator of broken trust,
A serial stain upon the land,
Who leaves his honor in the dust,
With tainted power in his hand.
No chosen son, no holy guide,
Just brass and bluster, smoke and sin
Strip back the hollow, gilded pride,
And see the public enemy within.
